Soil samples of two villages (Rasina and Gohida) from Kaithal district was collected by IISS, Bhopal in 2021 and digital map and recommendation was received in November, 2023 and accordingly validation of soil test based recommendations have been started. Another 100 farmers soil samples from 10 villages of Karnal districts were collected by same team during this year.
Experiment on graded N (0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210) and 3 wheat varieties having similar duration with contrasting colour was done in 2022-23 at experimental farm, equation was developed, validation at 15 locations all over India is going on.
Data of all the physiological parameters, yield and yield attributing parameters, photos at different N applications of various varieties as well as 100 farmers field data and agronomic practices were collected and uploaded in software developed by IASRI for further analysis.
Drone data of same experiment was taken by team of IARI for further analysis.
Sensor based irrigation study in wheat will start this year after installations of sensors by IIWM, Bhuvneshwer.
Prominent and contrasting yellow rust disease varieties (10) will be grown under epiphytotic condition at IIWBR, Karnal and IARI team will record (three times) the spectro-radiometer data for DSS in this year.
